Summertime!

The girls have had quite an active summer already, and the second half promises to be even busier as we will be both vacationing in Bermuda and moving to Virginia Beach in August! This summer the girls have been to watch the boats come in for Harborfest, have had playdates with friends, celebrated Father's Day, taken boat and bike rides, participated in a 4th of July parade, been to the butterfly festival, and danced to country music at an outdoor concert! This summer Roo has also discovered her love for painted nails (her hands are "pretty" only if they are painted!) and getting "coffee" with mom. She has done ballet lessons with a bunch of friends from school, and also recently started swim lessons where she practices swimming without her floatie! Roo also got a special date night with mom to the movies, and with dad to see fireworks. Maddie's big event was starting school when Mom went back to work 3 days a week. She has done very well and all the teachers are so great! And best of all for Roo, she knows she can "check in" on Maddie whenever she wants to. Other June & July highlights include the aquarium, Father's Day cookout, water park, and Busch Gardens!
