Maddie @ 5 Months Old

What a difference a month makes! Our sweet baby is now 5 months old, FULL of personality, and boy does she love her sister! Riley affectionately calls her "Maddie paddy", so she now has a few different nicknames, including "paddy" and "Maddie pads". It's clear that the love between these two is mutual, because Maddie loves to smile and laugh at her big sis, and Riley is committed to making her little sis laugh and smile - she's even willing to do the same goofy thing over and over if necessary! In the car, Maddie will crane her neck to the side so she can see Riley, and then smiles when Riley talks to her. It's adorable! Maddie's latest achievement is sitting up all by herself. She became more and more steady while sitting up, until about a week after she turned 5 months, when we realized she could sit steadily for quite awhile on her own. Such a big girl!
