An amazing summer

Our little Roo has had quite the exciting (and productive!) summer. She took to potty training very well and is now fully potty trained during the day, and does a good job at nighttime too - only here and there will she wake up with a wet pull-up. True to her independent spirit, potty training only happened when she decided it was something SHE wanted to do. Then it was easy! Some of her favorite activities and events from the summer include:

- Rides on the lightrail - she loves that thing!
- Tides baseball game
- Mommy and Me Ballet classes
- Swim lessons - she was not a fan at first, but warmed up to the teacher a bit and ended up making a lot of progress over the summer: jumping in & going under, blowing bubbles, kicking her feet and doing both front and back floats
- A whole WEEK in the Outer Banks with Nana's family - lots of swimming, mini golf, playing with cousins, and dance parties
- Lots of water park & theme park fun at Ocean Breeze, Water Country & Busch Gardens
- Fun with Colin on his VA visit - Dave & Buster's, trampoline park and swimming
- More fun classes at My Gym
- Getting nails painted (both at home and once at the salon with Gigi and Mom!)
- a Kletz trip to the Eastern Shore for some beach/pool time, more mini golf, arcade, and playground time with Colty and Levi
- Discovering a new fondness for swings (which she has always hated) - she is still a bit terrified but actually wants to do it and enjoys more than she did before
- A first hair cut at the salon with Mommy
- Hiking (in a dress, of course!) at First Landing with Mom, Dad and Ski
- Visits to Nene's house and a couple days with Nene while Mom and Dad worked
- Visiting the Zoo, riding the train and loving all the animals
- Moving up into a new class at school
- ODU tailgates with lots of friends and football games!
- Attending the kids service at temple for Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur
- Steelers Sunday and arcade games with the Kletz crew
- Picking out a Halloween costume - she demanded to be Skye from Paw Patrol
